In the EA Create Audio team, creative and technical audio experts create voice recording and editing, in-game commentary and voice overs, sound effects, music production and composition, scores and themes. From UI and menus to vehicles, weapons, environments, characters and beyond.

Audio Artist

Key Responsibilities:

Working within the Audioworks team, this individual must possess skills in quality sound design, advanced asset management, visual scripting, and post-production workflows. The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines while owning the quality of your work is a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for narrative driven design and exemplary ambition in problem solving and will contribute innovative forms of thinking to provide solutions throughout all stages of production. Specific tasks include:

  • Submitting finalized audio assets on or before required deadlines
  • Tuning of audio playback elements using various visual scripting methods (e.g. Unreal Blueprint, MaxMSP)
  • Maintaining and organizing in-game assets per naming convention protocols
  • Edit music from composer for interactive playback
  • Receive and execute on Audio Director’s vision, while owning quality of your work

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Post Production, Music Editing/Production or Bachelor’s degree in audio related program or equivalent game audio experience
  • Proficiency in Unreal/Unity with detailed knowledge in Middleware Tools (Wwise/Fmod)
  • Expert in at least one DAW (Certification Preferred)
  • Skillful in PC/Mac operating systems, hardware, and software
  • Knowledgeable of Excel
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a game audio professional
