Job Description

As an audio project manager at Ubi MTL, you will be responsible for managing, reviewing and improving the processes and tools in place and you will ensure their proper functioning and sustainability.

You will act as a point of contact in all stages of a project; in collaboration with the various stakeholders, you will identify problems and needs, analyze them, propose solutions and implement them.

what you will do

  • Define and ensure the improvement of the quality of systems and processes by implementing best practices and techniques and ensuring their evolution.
  • Meet with customers, then collect, analyze and understand their needs + ensure that customers understand their role in the steps to come.
  • Determine the resources needed by the teams in collaboration with the various managers (availability, skills, etc.) and facilitate the transfer of knowledge .
  • Put in place an appropriate methodology to effectively manage projects and meet quality and budget standards as well as deadlines.
  • Understand the processes, workflow and interrelationships within and between departments and collaborate with internal partner services in order to orchestrate and facilitate the implementation of optimal solutions , improvement projects and workshops.
  • Track work progress (team/project/production support), provide guidance for initiatives and regularly communicate achievements and progress to stakeholders.
  • Complete project closing activities (balance sheet, post-mortem, accounting, etc.).
  • Carry out proactive follow-ups on mandates and with customers + ensure the quality of communications with them and between other collaborators (frequency, adaptation according to the context and the product, etc.).
  • Maintain data on your customer base (production mandates, general satisfaction, deadlines, etc.).

Qualifications

What you bring to the team

  • A university education in a relevant discipline (training in project management or knowledge of optimization and continuous improvement approaches, an asset)
  • 2 to 10 years of experience in a relevant discipline
  • Good relational skills (especially with customers) and communication skills (you express yourself well in front of an audience)
  • An analytical mind that allows you to solve any problem that arises
  • Lots of creativity and a thirst for innovation
  • An excellent sense of organization making you a specialist in planning and managing files simultaneously
  • Leadership that allows you to assert your point of view and foster a collaborative, caring and motivating environment for your team
  • The ability to express yourself in French and English
  • Knowledge of the video game and audio industry, an asset
