Role Overview
EA Create Audio is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Audio Artist who can make an immediate contribution to our team. You have core experience in sound design, postproduction, and implementation. You understand game development, have a passion for video games and an overwhelming desire to create an outstanding audio experience. If this is you – join us in this journey!
Responsibilities
  • Create quality audio for video games according to the product vision
  • Author small and/or well-defined audio-related tasks
  • Directly support portion(s) of feature(s) or small project or task(s)
  • Quality control review of project(s)
  • Manage and review samples, quality and tracking documentation: sound design of source elements and/or speech editing, naming and file organization
  • Responsible for music editing, and interactive music implementation
  • Audio post production for any in game video content
  • Take direction from the Audio Director and other more senior audio artists on a project, but still expressing your creativity
Requirements
  • You have 3 or more years of game audio experience
  • Basic experience using game development tools, technology and pipelines (Wwise, FMOD)
  • Comfortable with modern audio creation equipment, software and recording techniques and at least one DAW (preferable Pro tools)
  • Solid knowledge of PC and Mac hardware and software
  • You have experience with bug-tracking software such as Jira/Hansoft
  • You are familiar an experience with version-control systems such as Perforce or Git
  • You have worked an experience with a relational database such as MS Access
  • Good 5.1/surround audio mixing skills
  • Outstanding sound design and listening skills
  • Preferred skills in the area of technical implementation of game audio
  • Fully proficient in ProTools (ProTools certified or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Solid experience using game audio development tools, technology and pipelines
